Commitment to supported living & care at home | Milltown Community, Kincardineshire

Three of the residents with learning disabilities in Milltown House are elderly and have dementia and increasing care needs. Milltown Community is committed to providing care and support for them as long as possible.

Camphill Foundation UK & Ireland assisted Milltown Community with a substantial loan for the building of Peesie’s Knapp, a wooden kit house that provides Supported Living and Care at Home for two tenants within a family household and an independent flat.

The Foundation has also helped with the costs of equipment to meet the needs of elderly residents. This included a profiling bed, a wheelchair, a reclining  chair, a day chair, shower chair and hoist.
