Project update | Corbenic Camphill Community

Just over a year ago, we provided Corbenic Camphill Community with a grant for £20,000 to help towards the repair and upgrading of their Garden Workshop.

The Garden Workshop is an essential part of their residential and day service provision, and the meaningful work that takes place contributes significantly to the community, with organic and biodynamic produce being used in the homes as well as being sold in the Corbenic shop.

The grant, so far, has enabled them to refurbish the lean-to greenhouse and fit a new window in the store room, and they hope to have all internal work completed by the end of January.

The remaining work will take place over the coming months:

– Combining of the two existing toilets into one disabled toilet

– Upgrading the kitchen

– Replacing the wood burner with a gas fire

– Upgrading c.20m of existing cinder path to fully paved path suitable for wheelchair access.

Thanks for the update Corbenic Camphill Community and we look forward to seeing further updates in the coming months!
